   Author Wayne Kelly has written a detailed and well-illustrated tribute to Canadian Piano Manufacturing, which began in Quebec in the late 18th century, flourished and then faded out in the 1980's. But, during that period, some of the best pianos in the world were made in Canada.

...is an excellent manual on piano construction and quality. With lots of illustrations, it goes into considerable detail in pointing out the differences in features among various makes of pianos. It will be a great help in choosing a high quality instrument.
