There are two organizations of Piano Teachers in Calgary: The  Alberta Registered Music Teachers Association  (ARMTA) and  The Association of Piano Teachers In Alberta (APTA). Both of these are groups of highly qualified teachers. You will want to choose one who is experienced in teaching the age level you require and, hopefully, will live not too far from your home.

In addition, there are many music schools and academies to choose from. The primary criteria to use in choosing is, "Does this teacher and the style of music she teaches, appeal to my child?" Then, try the teacher out for a time and change if necessary.
